Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights.

1. What we collect

When you use preli. we collect:

Account information — your name and email address when you sign up
Wardrobe data — photos, names, and details of garments you add
Style preferences — your style profile, favourite colours, and preferences
Outfit history — outfits generated and saved within the app
Location data — your home city for weather, and travel destinations you enter
Usage data — basic analytics to help us improve the service

2. How we use your data

We use your data only to provide and improve preli.:

To generate personalised outfit suggestions for you
To fetch weather for your location and travel destinations
To store your wardrobe and outfit history
To process your subscription payments via Stripe
To send service emails (account confirmation, billing)

We do not sell your data. We do not use your wardrobe photos to train AI models.

3. AI and your data

Outfit suggestions are generated using the Anthropic Claude API. Your garment details are sent to Anthropic's API to generate suggestions. Anthropic's privacy policy applies to this processing. We do not send your photos to Anthropic — only text descriptions of your garments.

4. Data storage

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, hosted in the EU. Garment photos are stored in Supabase Storage. We use industry-standard security measures to protect your data.

5. Third parties

We share data with the following third parties only as necessary to provide the service:

Anthropic — outfit generation (garment text descriptions only)
Stripe — payment processing (billing information)
Supabase — database and file storage
Open-Meteo — weather data (location coordinates only)
Vercel — hosting

6. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Correct inaccurate data
Delete your account and all associated data
Export your data in a portable format
Object to processing of your data

7. Cookies

We use only essential cookies required for authentication. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

8. Data retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. When you delete your account, your data is permanently deleted within 30 days.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes by email.
